About Us

In his early years, Timur helped build houses for his family and relatives starting at the young age of 15 years old. Three years later he went to a Technical University in Kazakhstan where he finished with a bachelor’s degree in design. After university, Timur moved onto selling houses as a realtor and later building new homes himself. At the age of 32, Timur and his family won a green card to permanently move to the United States. Timur believes that “there is no better country on earth than the US”, so he and his family packed their bags and moved in search of new opportunities and a better life.

When he first arrived, Timur would have to pass many hurdles including learning a completely foreign language and adjusting to the new culture. Timur finally attained his general contractor’s license and started Timurland Construction LLC in 2007. Tim had good business going for him even during the 2008 recession because of his attention to detail and impressive quality of work. “Everyone wanted to hire me over and over, referring my company to their family and friends, because they couldn’t argue with the quality of my work”.

Soon word spread across town about Timur’s work and unique story and it wasn’t much longer before he became a referred and respected builder in Portland. Today, his work can be found all over the Portland, Beaverton, Tigard, and Lake Oswego area with over 200 projects completed. Timur is proud of the quality homes he builds and there are very few builders that come close to what he does.
